I’m so excited to be featured on the blog Be the Next Her! It’s a great site that profiles different women’s unique career paths. So insightful and inspiring! Here’s a sneak peak of my profile: “Makeup was always my passion, and as my business gained a following I focused mainly on that. My goal was always to be a thriving freelance makeup artist, not only because I have such a passion for it, but also because I wanted to do something where I would be my own boss and have some flexibility to take care of my kids.” Check out the full post here.   For this shoot Maret Kendra and I put together a great team. Maret came up with the idea of making angel wings out of paper and decorating a beautiful golden Christmas tree as part of the backdrop for this shoot. Our models Stephanie Christian and Makenzie Smith did an amazing job looking very angelic. Of course without Katie D’Souza of Bridal Hair Couture By Katie doing a beautiful job on the hair and our amazing photographer Mohsin Javed, our pictures would have never come out as beautiful as they did. It’s all about the teamwork!   |
